Hull constructed of heavy oak beams and mahogany planking.
Good survey at purchase in 2002, boat has been ashore and covered since.

Classic Gentlemen's Motor Yacht, designed by Sidney N. Graham and built by Guy Shelley of Gosport, Southampton in 1936. This classic wooden crusier is powered by twin Ford 4D 4 litre diesel engines and has been lovingly restored by its current owner to retain many of it characteristic features.
The motor yacht has had an eventful past going from private ownership to being requisition by 'His Majesty's Goverment' in the 1940's to work as an Auxillary Partol Vessel during WWII. Duties included degaussing metal hulled warships to protect them from being detected by magnetic bombs laid by enemy forces in the waters around the British Isle.
The yacht accomodation consists of 5 berths through 3 cabins, including two toliets, shower with full hot and cold water system. Galley provides gas hob with oven and grill including 12 V fridge. Ideal river or sea boat with depth sounder, compass and naviagtion lights.

Built by John Harkers of Knottingley, The keel was laid 11/5/1950 launched on 28/12/1950 and Commissioned on 27/2/1951. She was purchased by the previous owner in the late 1980's when she was retired from service carrying Tar and Creosote from Knottingley to Immingham on the mouth of the Humber. The deck fittings where removed and the new cabin/wheel house steel work was added in the late 1990's. I purchased the vessel in 1999 from which time the vessel has been converted to a very spacious comfortable live-aboard / Extended Cruising vessel, Enter the large wheel house with U shaped seating for 7 around the table which drops to make a large double bed there are Navigator's and Helmsman seating, Navigation equipment includes, Bow Thruster, Depth Sounder, Electronic Compass, Speed/Dist Log, Garmin GPS, Garmin Chart plotter, VHF Radio and CD Radio player, Navigation lights are fitted and remote control search light. Leaving the wheel house you descend a spiral staircase into the modern galley inc 5 burner hob, Oven/Grill, plenty of storage cupboards, 12v full size fridge, 12v full size freezer, Microwave, Full size washing machine and Tumble Dryer. Off the Galley is Shower room inc Sea Toilet to holding tank, wash hand basin, airing cupboard and full height Shower cubicle. Step up from the galley you enter a very spacious living area with lay light in roof to allow in plenty of natural light, Solid fuel burner, CD/DVD cabernet, Two free standing leather couches, 32 LCD TV mounted on forward bulkhead with DVD/Video player under. Tanks are housed under living room floor Fresh water cap Approx 500 gall, Grey/Black water Approx 500 gall. Forward of living room is a spacious Double bed room with plenty of wardrobes and cupboards, Fixed king size bed with storage under, Dressing Table with mirror and light over. Forward of master bedroom is the Bow Cabin housing utility cupboard, Wardrobe, Computer cupboard and futon style bed settee. Engine room houses a Gardner 6LW engine on a Twin Disc MG509 gearbox with 3:1 Reduction connected via a Vetus Bullflex coupling. Also 5kva Diesel generator set, 1500w inverter, Battery banks under floor and 150gal fuel tank. |

1989 Ilver 36 - Nauti-Buoy
Well maintained and spacious cruiser

This is a fantastic well maintained example of the spacious Italian made Ilver 36 sports cruiser. The current owners have spared no cost in keeping her well maintained. She is in tip-top condition with a new (in 2007) Vetus bow thruster, D5 Eberspacher Diesel heater and refurbished upholstery.
The cabin is well laid out with a forward convertible V-Berth, dinette and large aft cabin with wardrobes and clothing cupboards. She also has a spacious galley and a large heads compartment with shower.
Wiring in the cabin has been updated, with new lights and switches.
The galley has a round bowl sink, oven, grill and 4 burner hob. A microwave is also fitted.
Under the canopy at the rear of the boat is a large cockpit housing a new 12V Fridge and loads of seating. This is a lovely area to socialise. The dashboard was new last year, and has a large variety of up to date instruments installed.
Power is from twin 1996 Volvo AD41D Diesel engines, providing speeds of around 32 knots.
Fuel Capacity 1x450ltr tank, Water capacity 1x150ltr tank.
